SCOLAR Debating Education Programme for Junior Secondary Students

Following its successful debut of debating competition for junior secondary students in the 2005/06 school year, SCOLAR, with the support of the Language Learning Support Section of the Education Bureau, launched the Debating Education Programme for Junior Secondary Students between the 2006/07 and 2008/09 school years. The objective of this Programme is to enhance students' creativity, communication skills and critical thinking abilities, and to develop teachers' professional skills in debating education.
